Jericho beach has a long, sandy stretch with views of the North Shore Mountains and downtown. It's also a great spot for sailing, windsurfing, sea kayaking, and beach volleyball. It's a popular mainstream beach, but it's GLBTQ friendly, as is most of Vancouver.
