What started 6 years ago in a friend's apartment as a way for people to let loose and have some fun in the dark of the winter and the rain of Vancouver has become DRAG-A-LAGA-DING-DONG - Gender Bender Party, a fundraiser for community charities.
"The whole process of searching for the right dress, suit, gown, tux, and hair is in itself exciting and fun. Later after the make up has gone on and you are a "different" character than your daily routine allows, having a cocktail with your friends, laughing - and you will laugh - you will feel the freedom, and perhaps find that you have tapped into a secret alter ego. Who knows? And that is the point. Push your boundaries, have some fun, lighten up and if you feel so inclined sing a song and do a number!"

If you would like to perform, please leave a message for us and we will get back to you. Need some help or advice? We have some of our own local Drag Queens that are willing to assist you with wardrobe, makeup, hair, music and choreography. We will also have DJ DEL STAMP turning out the tunes.
