Good food
We got into Vancouver late evening (10:00 p.m.ish) on St. Patrick's nite. As we walked down Davie Street to find something to eat, FountainHead was one of the first ones we came upon. It was still very crowded with St. Patties Day partiers, and was still serving food. So, we went in, and had a very good, nicely priced, late nite meal. I would go back. The waitress was very pleasant.
Great place to visit
The food and drinks were great and well priced. The service could have been a little better but the great food and drinks made up for it. Its a must stop for any travelers visiting Vancouver and want to experience the gay scene.
Not a true pub
Nice enough bar with nice artwork, but its more of a traditional pick-up bar with a pool table and overpriced beer
Be careful here!
In March of 2009, there was a gay bashing here - the victim is in serious condition as of this writing. Just another attack in an epidemic of gay bashings in the heart of Vancouver's gay district along Davie Street. Hard to believe we are not even safe in our own clubs! Outrageous!
Friendly place
This is a real friendly place with great grub. A fantastic place to meet up before you go out on the night of town! Enjoy! Yum, Yum, Yummy!
