Gay Saturdays

Great new 'gay' space particularly on Saturdays, although it's gay friendly all the time. (And it appears to be trying to get a Friday thing going too). Its a multi-level place. Don't miss the 2nd floor if its open, nor the bathroom bar in the basement. (Guy's there are more than just stalls - the urinals are down the hallway in the middle of all the doors - you don't have to wait to pee!). The sound system is probably the loudest I've ever heard at a club, so bring your earplugs. They do the whole unnecessary velvet rope thing, but it's not too pretentious.

Definition of a Mixed Space

Went to Five Sixty the past two weekends, and it's quite a refreshing space. It's a little artsy, and they love holding the line, but I've had a ton of fun going with both a gay group of friends, and a straight group. Having the distinct rooms was a bonus as my mood tends to shift throughout the evening, and having four different lounge areas, three different djs, and several low key spaces make it a great spot to hang out (and dance your face off) for hours.

Revenge of the queers?!

Could 560 be the return fire on the straight community for forcing us out of Celebrities?! Or maybe the breeders will just pack up their hoochie, messy, tired and RUDE female crew and take a hike from the GAY scene dragging the drooling, sloppy, "metrosexual" boyfriends with them. Phew! Been saving up that rant for a few years. Hehe.
