Numbers Cabaret

(129 Ratings)
Vancouver's oldest gay club & bar

Considering it is the longest-running venue for cuties to come shake it in Vancouver, Numbers Cabaret is colorful, lively, and deliciously modern. As you saunter up the rainbow carpeted entrance, flanked by free-flowing rainbow flags, you will be greeted by friendly and accommodating staff members. They are there not only to ensure you have the most magical night possible but also to make sure you feel free & safe to be yourself. This multi-level club has enough space & enticing events that every patron of the LGBTQ+ community will feel represented and supported! Come enjoy a sultry cocktail and some appetizers before sliding onto that dance floor. Or perhaps you are more in the mood to lounge and play some pool while chatting with newly made friends! Whatever your plan for the night may be, you will not be disappointed by the time you spend at this local hotspot.

Reviews

Same look for years now.

This place needs a renovation with emphasis on a bigger dance area and air conditioning. Apart from the issues this place has, it is still one of my favorites when I come down with cabin fever. Met some real sweathearts here and the staff is always friendly. I go early to beat the crowd - to dance. Usually gone by 1am from overcrowding. Nice to see they finally took most the tables off the floor, turned down the lights and cranked the bass.

Fun games

This club is HUGE!! They also have a lot of game-show games which give the club a pretty fun energy. Of course, having drunk friends who enter the best ass contest really helps.

Old fashioned, unpretentious fun

Not one for the see & be seen crowd, Numbers is more about service & atmosphere with a good mix of patrons. Just one, big, friendly community bar, really.

Fun

This place is not half bad. It could use a renovation and better (brighter) lighting, which would make it feel less 'creepy' (some people complain of a creepy atmosphere). The cover charge is silly but the music is fairly good (I prefer house but top 40 is okay sometimes). The crowd is older with a lot of bears. Not usually many hotties but is totally fun once in a while. I wish this place would be more like Woody's in Toronto (no cover, nightly best chest/leg/butt contests, and better lighting, cleaner, and more modern interior.) Overall, fun once in a while.

Great for the older guys!

I actually went there last night for the first time! It was pretty fun! Played music I like (Top 40). There was like a pool area if that's not your thing. The crowd was mostly men but there were a few lesbians there. A few straight couples but they were not annoying or bothersome like at Celebs. There are mostly older guys here but there are some young guys here too! Kind of sleazy if you're into that. But all in all a good time!
