Good-looking lounge
When Pulse became the Junction, the popular club picked up a new DJ booth, upper level to hang out, and a new bar by the dance floor.

      Trendy and Fun!
Had a good time there while visiting Vancouver! Despite the racial slurs made to a friend that accompanied me, we had fun since the security diligently dealt with the person. Enjoy the drag show!!!

      Ill Customers Service
Yesterday evening at 2:10 am my friend and I experienced terrible customer service to the point I had to contact the manager, Byron to discuss a teachable moment. The facility was closing at 3 am and I had inquired if there was a cover charge for the last 45-50 minutes. The reply I received was a point to a sign above my head and "don't you see the sign is still up?" in a condescending tone. I explained to the young lady, I've been to many clubs in the states and overseas that are not concern about charging cover within a certain time frame, because the promoter and/or owner's priority is to make as much off the bar before last call. The unpleasant interaction did not stop there, the young lady asked what would we like to do- still in a condescending tone. My reply was no and proceed to walk away before recieving more unpleasant body gestures and remarks which included "Buh-Bye. The exit is that way." The conversation with Byron wasn't any different and was defensive as soon as he approached my friend and I. During the interaction, my friend and I spoke in a calm manner which wouldn't cause any concern of dealing with intoxicated or hostile patrons. I explained to Byron the purpose of the conversation was to point out a staff development opportunity in the near future. Byron then replied that he had spoken to the staff member prior to speaking to us and he was certain and implied the order of events were fabricated on our part. Byron's comments and body language during the conversation became hostile and erratic to the point he walked away while telling us, "I'm going to get the staff member to talk to you." because again he felt our story of events were inaccurate. Once Byron returned he was very apologetic verbally and his body language was less hostile. Byron offered us to come in with no fee yet we were no longer interested after the initial interaction with the staff member in addition to the manager. Overall, I will not return (my friend and I are tourist) nor recommend this venue to individuals in the LGBTQ scene in addition to our personal networks within the states or overseas.

      Lousy sound system
Someone told me this was the place to dance since the Odyssey closed. There are some former 'O' staff here, but the place was small and uninviting. Music was lame and absent of any quality or bass. Went back to numbers for the rest of the night.

      Glorified barn
I've been to worse, but I can't figure out how this place attracts a queue every weekend - or how they can justify a cover. The layout is awful, the service and drinks merely passable and while the crowd is nice enough, it's definitely a place to come with a group of friends. Not much fun alone. Entertainment (drag) is better than most though.

      Casual hang out
Another casual place to have drinks with friends. Mixed crowd on the night we went. It was a Saturday so it wasn't very busy but I hear on Mondays the Junction is the place to be.

Use to come here when it majestic, now it has returned to it's former lounge atmosphere. Good food and drinks.

      Had fun
Went on pride, 20.00 cover though (pride). We went pretty early (10ish), I was asked by 3 separate people if I had E (didn't, I was just dancing by myself shirtless early). Met some cool people that we ended up at a really hot after hours club with. Drinks were reasonably priced at least.

      Bad experience
The personnel is very rude to the clients! Busser takes all the drinks doesn't matter if they finished or not. So we had two bad incidents in this club and our night out was ruined! First nobody told us at the entrance that we have to pay, and the girl who was selling the tickets has't notice us. After a while she came to us and in a very rude manner said that we have to pay or get out from the club! We paid for the entrance and I tryed to explain her that nobody told us. But security guy who was standing beside her kept telling that if we don't like something we can get out! And he started telling that after we paid for entrance. Than we went to tha bar odered some drinks, and put them on a table to go and dance a little. At this moment the busser came and put our unfinished drinks with other glases on his tray. My friend noticed it and asked the busser to bring our drinks back. The busser took some different dirty glases from his tray and gave them to us not caring at all. Than he left, and after two seconds a security guard came and told my friend to get out from the club pushing him towards the entrance. And at the entrance quard told that we are not allowed to speak to the club personal like that. Like what?!? We were very polite but the guards in this club were shouting at us and behaving very agressively! Than we went to the manager to tell about this story. The manager promised us to talk with the busser but he still haven't replied to us. I guess he doesn't care at all about the clients! Cool club, what can I say!
