Big Bro's Barbershop Opening/Pride Party!

Big Bro's Barbershop is finally settled in and celebrating its relocation! Kickstart your Pride weekend nice and easy with our Thursday event: admission is free, and as always, our space is open to all ages! Stop by our shop between 4 and 8pm to: SEE THE SPACE! Most importantly, come meet the staff and take a look around! Our new shop is a major upgrade from our original location! Shop Staff: Jessie Anderson (owner of Big Bro's Barbershop), Brianne Baumber - Body Piercer, & Zed Payne TAKE PHOTOS WITH STAFF & FRIENDS! We'll have a photo booth set up, so show off your new customized shirts and create some memories! PAINT A PERSONALIZED BBB SHIRT! We've printed a limited run of Big Bro's Barbershop t-shirts without coloured-in barbershop poles, available at sliding scale rates ($20 Default; $15 Accessible; $25 Generous). We'll supply the fabric paint; you bring your own identity and fill in the flag colours of your choice! These shirts will be on sale ONLY once the Opening Party has begun - remaining shirts will be on sale after the event, but don't count on leftovers! Volunteer Facilitator: Bed Zed ENJOY REFRESHMENTS! We'll have a wine & beer bar set up from 5-8pm, for $5/drink (so come on by at 4 for some totally-sober time at our event)! 19+ only - if you are purchasing drinks, please have ID handy for age verification only. Bartender: James Booth DONATE! No pressure, but we are of course happy to accept any incoming donations. This relocation was not easy financially! OTHER INFORMATION: This event is also on our Compassionate Cuts day, so haircuts will be cut off at 4pm - make sure you come in for discounted cuts before then! (Jessie may be successfully talked into a buzz cut or two after 4, depending on how setup has gone.) Our overall space is accessible; our bathroom is not! The Chevron/Town Pantry across the intersection from us has a single-stall, gender-neutral accessible stall that is open to the public during the hours of our event.
