Laurice is a pioneer of genres as diverse as punk and disco, glam and soul and he seamlessly moves from one to the next. He is an out and OUT artist and gay activist still releasing music after a brief break in the early 2000's. Doing the lords work, Mighty Mouth Records has been digging through the archives of his personal collection and releasing old recordings that were either nearly forgotten or never released as well as new recordings. Classic punk songs from the pre-punk era like "I'm Gonna Smash Your Face In" straight through to sugary fuzz-psych of Paul St. John's UFO testimonial "Flying Saucers Have Landed". But with too many songs and changes in sound to list, perhaps the best introduction if you don't know him is this exceedlingly rare live performance of both new and old, but all classic Laurice songs.
