This event is located on the traditional territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and Tsleil-Waututh.
Mpowerment continues it's monthly sexual-health workshop with a conversation about substance use we see in our communities, including booze, pot, coke, and prescription drugs. This workshop-discussion is for us to ask questions and get some answers so we can make informed decisions about our partying and our health. We will talk about the stigma associated with some of these decisions and how to have healthy sex lives when we add substances into the equation.
**ASL interpretation can be made available between 6:30 and 9pm, on request. If you would like ASL interpretation, please contact us through a message, email us at darrenh@youthco.org, or comment on the event wall by Tuesday, May 17.
Mpowerment Headquarters is held at YouthCO, which is currently wheelchair accessible. The washroom at YouthCO is single stall and gender-neutral, and unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
