We acknowledge that this event is happening on the occupied, traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples – specifically the sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations.
The main space of Heartwood is wheelchair accessible. There is an automatic door button. Seating throughout the space includes benches along the wall, tables and chairs. At the back are the washrooms, both of which are on the same floor as the rest of the space. Neither washroom can fit most people using a wheelchair or scooter, though the larger of the two may be accessible to some folks using smaller wheelchairs, or who can get up and leave their chair in the hall. The neighbouring Starbucks has kindly allowed Heartwood folks needing an accessible washroom to use theirs without purchasing anything. Starbucks closes at 8:30pm.
