Queer As Funk presents: Fear As Funk II :: EARLY SHOW!

**EARLY SHOW** They're BAAAAACK! Queer As Funk returns to Fortune Sound Club for an early show on October 31st... Please note - This is an early show - doors at 7pm, show at 8pm sharp! Tickets $20 advance, $30 at the door. Online pre-sales are now sold out. Hardcopy tix available at Highlife Records, 1317 Commercial Dr. Totally unique in the history of Vancouver's LGBTQ community, Queer as Funk brings together ten of the city's hottest musicians in an explosive, high-energy dance band. With repertoire ranging from beloved funk, soul and Motown classics of the 60's and 70's (Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder) to contemporary favourites (Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake), Queer as Funk is also the sharpest-dressed suit-and-tie band in town. Fortune Sound Club cares about treating everyone with respect, and making us all comfortable... our amazing contact person, Zoe, has taken her entire staff for workshop at Qmunity! Fortune is not wheelchair and scooter accessible. There is a long flight a stairs from street level up to the main venue. If there are any guests attending with varying levels of mobility and seeing the venue in advance would help them out, we can easily arrange a site visit. Please make sure you bring your ID - your ID will be scanned when you enter the venue in accordance with Barwatch. This event takes place on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, and Squamish Nations.
