RIO GRIND FOUND FOOTAGE SHORT FILM COMPETITION
What is “Found Footage” you ask? Well, “Found footage” is an approach to film making in which all or a substantial part of a fictional film is presented as if it were discovered film or video recordings. Think Blair Witch Project or Chronicle. There are no limitations based on theme, so it can be whatever genre you like, as long as it’s presented to us in the “FOUND FOOTAGE” format. So dust off your old VHS camera, or just switch your iPhone to Video mode, Create your own Found footage film! It’s up to you!
The Top ten films will screen at The Rio Theatre Friday, Sept 11th 2015 where a live audience and panel of judges will choose the top three films! Best film wins $500 CASH Prize! Plus other awesome prizes TBA.
SUBMISSIONS NEED TO BE AT THE RIO BY AUG 26th at 12 midnight!
A few more ground rules:
-Submission fee is $30
- Films should be 5 - 10 min no longer!
-Films must be delivered to THE RIO THEATRE on a flash drive, or email link to info@riotheatre.ca please no DVDs
-Films must be in the H.264 Codec and the Mpeg4 playback Format
