Vancouver Frontrunners will once again be kicking off Vancouver Pride Society's Pride Week, with Pride Run & Walk as the first official event on July 25th.
This year promises to be bigger and better than ever with your choice of a 5km walking or running route along with the 10km running route.
Starting and ending at the Brockton Oval Fieldhouse in Stanley Park, the course will take you through some of Stanley Park’s scenic trails and along the breezy Sea Wall.
We'll be bringing back the famous disco water stations, prizes for best costumes and the finish line will be conveniently placed at the start of Picnic in the Park.
Pride Run and Walk is for everyone of every ability. For most it’s the enjoyment of taking part surrounded by like-minded and supportive people. Some run competitively and look to get a great time; many people run or walk to meet their own goal which could simply be about taking part. Some get together with friends and run or walk as a team. Some dress-up; some don’t. Basically, it’s your event to enjoy as you wish.
