Vancouver Men's Chorus presents MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT - Our North Star

There is a long connection between Canadians and the North Star. It guides us home when we are abroad, it watches over us all year round, and it reminds us what it is to be a northern people. Under our north star we thrive through the dark, cold and wet of winter. We come together for strength and warmth when the north wind blows and the winter snow is at its deepest. Under our north star we stand up for equality, we celebrate our chosen families and we embrace tradition in a uniquely Canadian way. Whether you hail from Cape Breton or Vancouver Island, or from the 49th parallel or North of 60, Making Spirits Bright: Our North Star promises to be a celebration of the holidays as experienced from here.
